Verlin "Pecoe" Chretien

Verlin "Pecoe" Chretien, is an entertainer in every sense of the word.  When he's on the stage he delivers an excitingly first class show.  Verlin grew up with a musical family.  He is the fifth sibling of fourteen.  The majority of the family either sings or dances, and does it very well.  As very young children they were exposed to music and dance.  Just like his father (Peter Chretien), Verlin loved to sing.  Music was instilled from both sides of his parental families.  His mother (Olena Chretien) grew up in Mount Calvary Baptist Church.  Verlin's fraternal grandfather played the guitar and fiddle.  During his high school years at W.O. Boston, Verlin sang with the group the "Repititions".  After graduating from W.O. Boston, the group moved to Los Angeles to further their singing careers.  After several years of performing and traveling throughout California and in Las Vegas, Verlin decided to move back home.  He never missed a beat.  He continued to perform and still does today.  His first choice of music that he loves to sing is Gospel music.  Verlin is called on many occasions to sing.  He is a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Gospel Choir.  Although he loves to sing Gospel music, he also loves to sing Jazz and Blues.
